The Windart Skipper Open Day is the perfect time to test yourself in a protected environment without immediately suffering the pressure due to the responsibility of having a crew.
It’s also a great opportunity to get to know the team of Windart Skippers: they are the backbone of all the sailing experiences organized by the Windart Community!
The day will be led by an experienced Skipper and will focus on… sea! We will try together to make some board, maneuvers in restricted waters and we will face the rudiments of the crew management.Â
If you want to become the next Windart Skipper, test yourself and become part of a Team and Community that sails in flotilla both in the Mediterranean and in the world… this is the perfect day!

A typical day
- 9:00 - Welcome coffee and chit chat, let’s icebreak!
- 9:30 - Everyone on board, we gotta know the boat.
- 10:00 - We leave the moorings and make a couple of edges!
- 10:30 - Brindisi at sea: a toast of bubbles to celebrate.
- 12:00 - And for lunch? Bread and salami... or something else the crew has come up with!
- 14:00 - Let’s see how we do with… the engine.
- 16:00 - Return to port, debriefing and evaluation of the day!
